I owe a lot to podcasts. Those little audio files amused me for hundreds of hours on trams, planes, and in the car, all while helping me get better at Spanish and French. Music is also one of the quickest, most effortless ways to skyrocket your confidence. I talk about this extensively in the book, but here are a few great podcasts and artists, podcasting and singing in Spanish:
1. Notes In Spanish Podcasts
From Ben and Marina in Madrid: A great mix of interesting topics (Spanish tapas, anyone?), great explanations and grammar made fun (yes, that’s right, I used grammar and fun in the same sentence). They have over 100 free podcasts, and also offer great paid stuff if you get more advanced.

2. JP’s Studio Siesta Podcasts
JP interviews various Spanish-speaking guests on a host of topics on his private show.

3. Jarabe de Palo’s Music
This Spanish band is one of the most played CDs in my entire collection. They went massive a few years back in Latin America with La Flaca. I also love Agua, and used to use that song with my students. It’s easy to understand, and even easier to listen to.

Have your ears into another language podcast? I’d love to hear about more resources in the comments.
